Aged Grappa
L'Assedio - Aged grappa
Grape type/Ingredients: Distillation of a particular selection of red grapes from our region.
Distillation process: We have chosen a particular aging process: for 24 months, the grappa is put into oak barriques usually used to age whiskey. Afterwards it is put into ash wood for further six months.
Processing: Grape fermentation is carried out in special vats featuring a constant temperature control. Graps are afterwards distilled using an alambic in bain-marie.
Appearance: Intens gold colour
Aromatic profile: Intense, warm and soft. It reminds of the aroma of freshly baked bread, vanilla and dry fruit.
Taste: Full, rich, spicy with persistent notes of almonds and chocolate.
Alcoholic strength: 45% vol.
To serve: Serve at room temperature.
Packaging: Screen-printed decanter in cherry wood.
Number of bottles: 450 bottles per year.

Grappa Mariposa Lacrime d’uva
Excellent destillate, characterised by an intense flavour. Great taste, spicy and aromatic aroma. Limited production.
Grape type/Ingredients: Vinacce di uve Moscato ed Amarone
Distillation process: Continuous with steam
Appearance: Traditional amber colour
Aromatic profile: Intense and strong aroma
Taste: Smooth and spicy with fine vanilla notes due to the aging process in cherry wood barriques

To serve: Serve at room temperature in large glasses.

Grappa Mariposa Riserva
Aged grappa with a smooth and soft taste. Limited edition.
Grape type/Ingredients: Red wine grapes aged for 4 years in small oak wood barriques.

Taste: Soft

Gewürztraminer MMXV Grappa
Our MMXV is a distillate made from Gewürztraminer grapes and aged in ash barriques. We produce 500 bottles per year, making this a limited edition. The aroma is typical for this varietal, and is redolent of mild hints of vanilla. The flavour of our grappa is soft, warm and very well balanced. Storing the grappa in ash barrels gives it a mellow and elegant feel.

Grape type/Ingredients: Teroldego grapes from the Rotaliana plain in Trentino
Distillation process: Discontinous destillation with steam. Obtained from the soft pressure of the grapes and the addition of selected yeasts. This grappa has to age a total of 12 months. Limited edition.
Appearance: Clear, crystalline
Aromatic profile: Intense, fruity
Taste: Strong, forest fruit notes, great aftertaste, perfect balance between aroma and taste.

Distillation process: Discontinous destillation with steam. Obtained from the soft pressure of the grapes and the addition of selected yeasts. This grappa has to age a total of 12 months. Limited edition.

Grape type/Ingredients: This grappa is a cuvè of lagrein, muscat and gewürztraminer grapes. Grappa Barrique ist ein Cuveè von den Rebsorten des Lagrein, Moskateller und Gewürztraminer.
Distillation process: Discontinous destillation with steam. This grappa has been aged in small barriques, the same where once they used to age the Lagrein.
Appearance: Amber

This grappa has been obtained from dried graps (corvina, rondinella, molinara). The particular processing method gives this product unique characteristics. Top quality grappa.

Grappa Müller Thurgau
Obtained from a soft pressing of "Müller-Thurgau"-grapes which just concluded a sugar-fermentation process and enriched by the addition of selected yeasts. The particular process of the raw material gives this product its special characteristics. High quality grappa.
